A wide variety of Scots Song resources is now available online.

In early 2018, material formerly hosted at Education Scotland's 'Scotland's Songs' website was transferred to the Scots Language Centre website, including many resources for singers to listen, download and learn:

Kist o Riches / Tobar an Dualchais is home to over 30,000 digitised field recordings in Scots and Gaelic mainly from the archives of the School of Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh.

The James Madison Carpenter Collection Project features recordings of songs from Aberdeenshire undertaken in the 1920s and '30s by the American foklorist JM Carpenter. The material forms something of a bridge between the work of Gaving Greig and James B. Duncan, and the collectors of the 1950s. The project is currently preparing material for publication.

The Alan Lomax Archive of recordings from Lomax's trips to Scotland are now available at the Association for Cultural Equity website. 

Digitised recordings from both old commercial releases (e.g. 78rpm records) and private collections are online at Raretunes.org

The Roud Folk Song Index, compiled by Steve Roud, Honorary Librarian of the Folklore Society, is hosted at the English Folk Dance and Song Society's website. It contains nearly 200,000 references to folk songs from across the British Isles, with references to recorded, manuscript and printed versions of songs.

The National Library of Scotland's Digital Archive
hosts the recently digitised Glen Collection of Scottish music and songbooks, along with a Scottish Song Index, and the Word on the Street broadside ballads project. 

NLS also hosts a collection of over 2,300 English broadside ballads which contain a number of Scottish items.
