In 2014 the Electoral Commission issued a booklet to Scottish voters as a guide to the Scottish Independence Referendum. It contains information about personal and postal voting, and includes statements from both sides in the campaign, as well as statements by the Scottish and UK governments relating to the outcome of the vote.
