Devil in the Kitchen

This is a reel. The tune has many other names, such as Calum Crubach, Devil Shake the Half-Breed, Miss Sarah Drummond of Perth and The Prince of Wales Jig.

According to Scott Skinner it was originally a pipe tune composed by William Ross, though in pipe collections it is a strathspey credited to John MacPherson.

Skinner popularised it and expanded the melody to four parts.
